Congratulations to two George M. Davis Jr. Elementary School teachers recognized by the Board of Education last Tuesday for achieving tenure.
Third-grade teacher Lauren Endres and physical education (PE) teacher Gianmattia Catanzaro were introduced by Principal Anthony Bambrola. He saluted both, providing examples of their dedication, innovation and expertise.
Endres, he said, is “a fantastic teacher, exceptionally detailed and student-centered,” who has a reputation as a “warm colleague.” Catanzaro “puts kids first,” and shows an “exceptional initiative to ensure kids are successful,” “going above and beyond for all kids, but particularly those who need a bit more out of PE.”
