On Saturday, Dec. 11, the New Rochelle High School girls' indoor track team participated in the Jim Mitchell Invitational at the Armory Track Center. Senior Olivia Moxey received two gold medals: She won the 300-meter race and was on the winning 800-meter relay team along with Kylie Griffith, Eko Dodd-Brown and Kaela Godfrey.
The team took first, second and third place in the 55-meter low hurdles competition, led by Malaya Lathan, Gabby Barrett and Nia Perry. Perry also won the Triple Jump. Congratulations to the team on a great effort.
Congratulations to Kaique Braga of the boys' indoor track team. He won the 200 and 400 meter dashes at the Iona Prep Polar Bear meet on Sunday, Dec. 12.
