The November sky is full of legends and heroes but a great imagination is needed to identify these characters. They include the constellations Perseus the hero, Pegasus the flying horse, the Queen of Ethiopia, Cassiopeia and her daughter, Andromeda and of course the star, Medusa, the snake haired monster - but do not look at her because she will turn you to stone.
The Leonids meteor showers will peak around the 12th this month. Face east after midnight
towards the constellation Leo the Lion.
The planets Jupiter and Saturn grace the evening sky all month and Venus sparkles each morning, visible until sunrise.
